Droomelaer founder Lode Caron (°1974) grew up in the non-digital age of the eighties and nineties, where he learned to make all kinds of stuff using only basic materials like wood, plastic, and Lego. His childhood was dominated by tinkering, with lots of building, breaking, and rebuilding. When electronics entered his life through his education, the blueprint of his present activities was laid out. Lode turned his passion for dreaming and building into his creative craft, resulting in the audiovisual builder project called Droomelaer. Within the Droomelaer project, Lode can practice his visual storytelling through a combination of manual and digital creation techniques, whatever the next project needs.
